Etienne Charles, Director
Pastor Jean Etienne Charles is the son of Pastor Benito and Fragelie Charles, the third of six children. He was born and raised in a Christian environment in Haiti. He is married to his wonderful wife Jacqueline Cambry Charles. Through his marriage, he has 4 wonderful daughters, 3 biological and 1 adopted.
He attended primary school and high school at College Evangelique de Simon in Haiti. He obtained his degree in Biblical Studies from Freedom Bible College and his undergraduate at Geneva College and Jamaica Bible College.
He is an ordained minister and has been pastoring churches for over 30 years. At one point in his ministry, he was the overseer of 7 churches in Haiti. He was on the American University of Les Cayes board and taught there as well. He has been on Harvest House, Haiti’s Children, Inc. boards, Heart of the father Ministries, and Harvest International.
He also served as the Director of Harvest International.
He has been working for Mercy International in Haiti since it started and held the position of Field Director. He now works as Director in our US office.
Kennley Leyendeckers, Assistant Director

Kenlley is a Haitian native, who was adopted by American parents at the age of thirteen. As a young boy, living in an orphanage there, he met missionaries who inspired a growing vision within him. He knew that he wanted to help bring hope to the children around him. The 2010 Earthquake precipitated his father’s going to Haiti to escort him to America. He quickly adapted to the American language and culture, graduating from high school, and attending college.
He has been the associate director of Mercy International for six years. He continues to feel that the Lord wants him to be involved in Haiti. Kenlley has been married now for three years to his wife Lydia and they have a daughter named Aimée Lynn Joy.
Kenlley is excited to see what God has in store for him, his family, and the people of Haiti.
Lydia Leyendeckers, Financial Administrator

Lydia was born in Kerrville, Texas to Louis and Angela Graves. She has 3 siblings (2 older sisters and 1 younger brother). She attended primary school at Grace Christian School and graduated high school at Grace Academy of Kerrville. She was raised in a Christian environment with parents who taught her about God’s love. She accepted Christ into her heart at 4 years old.
Since then, she has volunteered and served in ministry in any way that she can. She has worked since the age of 10 with nursery, VBS, children’s church and Sunday school. She loves to create, and God has used that desire to help and show His love to others. She has worked at financial institutions and churches which has brought her to the position of bookkeeper and office administration at Mercy International.

She married Kenlley Leyendeckers in October of 2019 and gave birth to their beautiful daughter, Aimée Lynn Joy in December of 2021. God has led her, Kenlley and their family to serve wherever He leads.
Tiffany Cone, Administration
​
Tiffany has been married to Jason Cone for 27 years and is the mother to three children: Savannah, age 25; William, age 21; and Walker, age 16. Tiffany is active at First Baptist Boerne where her family has worshiped for the past 14 years. She enjoys volunteering in her community, her children’s school, and her church.
She graduated from Baylor University with a BBA Marketing degree. She has served in volunteer leadership roles at Geneva School of Boerne where her children have attended for the past 19 years, in the Boerne chapter of YMSL (Young Men’s Service League), and at church.
