She’s Crippled but Ran!

Updated: Oct 27, 2022

I’ve attached two pictures of Carline. She’s been crippled since birth. She’s nineteen now but was fifteen at the time of the earthquake. She had never stood or walked but when the building she was in started to crumble from the earthquake, she got up and ran out of the building. Now she walks with a cane.

Her life has always been a life of begging on the streets of Port au Prince. It’s not a good life, I did my best but couldn’t get her to smile.

I’m sharing this because it’s such an unusual story and perhaps to once again remind us of how very blessed we are. Pray that Carline finds the love, joy and peace that only our Savior can give.
